Posters
For this project, we carefully chose an article head line from The New York Times. We created posters to visually convey the story the article was about. Using key words and powerful images, I had to think conceptually. The challenge became telling just enough of the story without saying too many things. Through this project, we learned how to boil a story down to it’s main focus.

Kalman
This project was to typographically represent the essence of a quote. Each quote represented the designer who said it and the design has to hint at the designer’s aesthetics. The quote design was then turned into an event poster for a talk by the given designer.

Hierarchy
The pirameters for this project started with a mock speech series. We were limited to one type face and had to stress the use of hierarchy in order to communicate the event properly. For this version we had no limitations on thresholds or scale.
